Hundreds Pulogebang Public Housing's occupants in East Jakarta participated in business talk show with theme 'Ready for Success as Entrepreneurs' on the location.

Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Area Department's Secretary, Eko Suroyo conveyed, this talk show aims to increase number of public housing occupants to run a business.

"In general, public housing occupants have low income, thus it is important to motivate them to run a business in order to improve their economy," he said, Saturday (2/15).

Pulogebang UPRS Head, Vita Nurviatin mentioned, her side has provided entrepreneurship training for the occupants since 2016. Until now, there are several occupants who run small business related to culinary, batik, plastic recycle, and others.

"We invite motivators to share their knowledge in marketing strategy related to packaging, taking the product's picture, branding, and others," she added.

One of the participants, Dwi Ari Kristianto (47), who also has water refilling business showed his enthusiasm in joining this talk show.

"From this talk show, I learn a lot from the motivators. I will try to promote this business via pamphlet and Whatsapp," he conveyed.
